Hi @Deborah828,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e printer might be having trouble with duplex (double-sided) printing settings. Here's how you can fix the issue.
Check Printer Settings:
- Ensure that you are using the correct settings in the print dialog.
- Go to your print settings in the application (e.g., Word, PDF viewer) and look for the Print on Both Sides or Duplex Printing option.
- You may have a choice of flipping on the long edge or short edge. For a church bulletin, it's likely that you need the long edge option, but you can try both to see which one works best for your layout.
Adjust Layout in the Document:
- If the content on the back page is printing upside down, check that the orientation and page layout of the bulletin are set correctly in your document editor.
- Make sure the back page is aligned properly with the front page. You may need to manually adjust the placement of the elements or try changing the page orientation from portrait to landscape or vice versa.
Printer Settings from HP Smart:
- Open HP Smart or the printer’s web interface and check for any advanced duplex settings that might be overriding the document settings.
- Make sure the two-sided printing feature is enabled properly.
Update Printer Driver:
- Sometimes, a misconfigured or outdated printer driver can cause print issues. Go to the HP support page to make sure you have the latest printer driver installed.
Check Paper Loading:
- Ensure that the paper is loaded in the printer correctly, with the right side facing up, and check that the duplexer is functioning properly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
