HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw

As stated by some, the printer is stuck in a bootloop, and I am unable to do anything in menu or anything, tried all power cycling suggestions and still am unable to do anything.

Could any assistance please be provided?

Hi @Dev12341

If your HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw is stuck in a boot loop and power cycling hasn't worked, here are a few steps you can try:

Steps to Troubleshoot Boot Loop Issues:

  1. Power Cycle Again:

    • Disconnect the printer from the power source.
    • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cable.
  2. Firmware Update:

    • If possible, attempt to update the firmware. Sometimes, interruption during an update can cause boot loop issues.
    • Download the latest firmware from the HP support website.
  3. Printer Reset:

    • With the printer unplugged, hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power and power it on while holding down the Cancel button to see if it resets.
  4. Remove Connected Devices:

    • Disconnect any USB drives or cables from the printer.
    • Restart the printer without any connections.
