Hi @Henry4182, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The E0 error on your HP DeskJet 2755e printer, along with an orange blinking light, typically indicates an issue with the ink cartridges. Since you have already replaced both cartridges, try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check Cartridge Installation

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed.
  • Open the cartridge door and remove both cartridges.
  • Reinsert them firmly until they click into place.
  • Close the cartridge door and check if the error persists.

Clean the Ink Cartridge Contacts

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the cartridge door and remove both cartridges.
  • Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water to clean the gold-colored contacts on the cartridges.
  • Let them dry completely and reinstall them.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges

  • If you are using non-HP cartridges, the printer may not recognize them.
  • Ensure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges.

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
  • Wait 2–3 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Press and hold the Power button and the Cancel (X) button for 10 seconds.
  • Release both buttons and check if the error clears.

    Align the Cartridges
  • If the printer turns on without the error, try aligning the cartridges:
    1. Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
    2. Go to Printer Settings > Print Quality Tools > Align Cartridges.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Ensure your printer is running the latest firmware:
    • Open HP Smart and go to Printer Updates.
    • If an update is available, install it.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
