Hp deskjet 2700

Coloured ink cartridge is full and printer acknowledges this but everytime I print a page it says it's empty. I have to reset it and start again. Help please?

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 2–3 minutes and then plug it back in.
  • Turn it on and try printing again.

Reseat the Cartridge

  • Open the cartridge door and remove the color ink cartridge.
  • Wipe the gold contacts with a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinsert the cartridge firmly until it clicks into place.

Run an Ink Cartridge Cleaning Cycle

  • Open HP Smart App or Printer Settings on your PC.
  • Go to Tools > Clean Cartridges and follow the steps.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit HP Support and check for firmware updates.
  • Install updates and restart the printer.

Reset the Printer

  • Press and hold the Power + Cancel buttons for 10 seconds.
  • The printer will restart and reset the ink system.

Try a Hard Reset (If Needed)

  • Unplug the printer while it is turned on.
  • Hold the Power button for 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.
