Connecting printer to wifi

HP Recommended
HP Envy 5020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just changed my broadband provider and am now unable to reconnect my printer to the new wifi.   I can't type in the router's password as it includes the @ symbol, and that character does not seem to be available on the printer's screen.

@Cattalk17

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

That is strange as the @ symbol is definitely present to input email addresses.

Let's restore the network settings on the Printer: 1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ). 2. Touch Restore Network Settings, and then follow the onscreen instructions. 3. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset

Once one, connect the Printer to the Computer using the HP Smart App: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675142

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
