Since yesterday my printer has become unusable. It will continually reboot within one minute of start up after displaying a 79 service error.

If I disconnect the printer from the network it will stop rebooting and operate "fine" however I can no longer send it print jobs or scan to network folders so this is not a solution. Connecting via ethernet or wifi makes no difference, both methods result in the printer rebooting.

Firmware version is 20201022 - this was installed some time ago so would not appear to be the cause of the issue as the problem has just started.

Any ideas how I might be able to get this fixed? Thank you

After a bit of troubleshooting I discovered disconnecting my router from the internet solved this issue.

Internet access is nice to have for all my other devices though.

So blocking the printer's IP address from access to any internet port via the router's admin webpage is my current workaround for this problem.
