Hi @BucBobby,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 is not printing cyan despite trying multiple troubleshooting steps, here are a few additional suggestions you can try.

  • Check Ink Levels: Make sure the cyan cartridge has sufficient ink. Even if it shows full, consider replacing it with a new cartridge, as it might be defective.
  • Run the Print Quality Diagnostic: Use the HP Smart app to run a print quality diagnostic test. This can help identify specific issues with the printhead.
  • Clean the Printhead: You mentioned cleaning the heads, but it can be helpful to use the automated cleaning option through the HP Smart app multiple times.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware. You can check this through the HP Smart app.
  • Print from Different Devices: Try printing from another device (like a smartphone or tablet) to rule out any software issues on your primary device.
  • Factory Reset: As a last resort, you might consider performing a factory reset on the printer. Be aware this will remove all your settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

From all I've heard and done through HP help, chat, and tech support, the answer is...

"...it's a hardware problem.  Here are our options for buying a new printer...blah, blah, blah..."

Are you kidding?  Trying to contact HP because newly installed HP can cartridges aren't printing and it takes to me a web page that wants me to pay for customer support!  Customer support my @$$.
