Hi @asc9200,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The DD000F58 error code on your HP printer indicates a firmware-related failure, often occurring during or after setup or a firmware update.
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the back.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
- If the error persists, proceed to the next step.
2. Attempt a Cold Reset
- Some HP printers allow a cold reset by holding specific buttons during power-up.
- However, if the screen is frozen or unresponsive, this may not work.
3. Firmware Recovery (if accessible)
- If the printer allows USB firmware updates:
- Download the latest firmware from Official HP® Support.
- Copy the firmware file to a USB drive.
- Insert the USB into the printer and follow on-screen prompts (if available).
⚠️ If the screen is completely frozen, this step may not be possible.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
