Product: Officejet 8030
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Officejet 8030 has the Default set to photographs.  How can I change that Default to "Plane Paper" 8.5" x 11"?  Using the current default setting takes too much time for Word and Excel documents.  The Plain Paper wetting is much faster.  I do not print many photos, but do print a large number of documents.  Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Open and close the paper tray and evaluate the prompt on the screen, be sure to set the Paper Type as Plain Paper and the Size as A4 or Letter, as the used paper.

 

From your PC, click File > Print and review the settings there too, ensure it is set to the required Paper Size and Paper Type as Plain Paper.
