HP 7520 Photosmart

Installed a new HP 564 Black Cartridge in my 7520 Photosmart on 18 Jan 2021.  After a couple days, it was not printing correctly.  I went through several clean print head, a couple of them were deep clean, with no real resolution.  I have been trying to seek a replacement cartridge, starting with the phone number on the included paperwork, which direct me to www.hp.com/contact to create a case number to speak to a live agent, which then hung up.  I went to that website which then placed me in a DO LOOP going to several different pages, mainly do to the fact that the questions asked are related to the printer which is out of warranty.  But no where did I get to talk to alive agent, and then I ended up here on community support.  This is ridiculous to try to replace a defective ink cartridge.

I see that the printer is not printing black. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues, and the issue persists, this could be a hardware issue either with the black ink cartridge or the printhead.

 

Yes, you will have to contact the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer/ink cartridge. 

 

I have also sent you a private message with contact information to reach the HP Support team. Kindly check the same, this might help you to resolve this issue. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
