Hi,

which cartridge is full @Printerboy32? Please note the cartridge indicated below or above the error message (K=blacK, Y=Yellow, C=Cyan, M=Magenta).

Also hide the message and swipe down the top gray bar and click the Ink Drop icon, then evaluate the estimated ink levels for all four ink cartridges, ant empty cartridge must be replace to allow printing:

My back cartridge is brand new. The other color cartridges are empty and I want to keep it that way. I only need to use black but the printer won't print when I try using the recently installed black, instead I receive the error message I mentioned below.

As listed in the document included in my previous posts, your printer require all cartridges to have ink in order to allow printing, you must replace any empty color cartridges to resume printing.

Shlomi,

This is ridiculous. You're telling me I can't just use my black ink cartridge to print documents and that I have to buy ALL cartridges in order for my printer to work now!!???? Is this HP's way of making money?! I only need black, not all colors that will cost over $100!! I can't believe this to be accurate. There has to be a way to just print from the black cartridge!
