There are specific areas in the paper where printing is blurred. I have tried all three printing qualities (Draft, Normal, Best) and all have blurred letters. I have also used the HP Print and Scan Doctor to clean the printer heads several times but no improvement.

HI @pgv22,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you’re experiencing blurred printing with your HP DeskJet 4675 despite trying different print qualities and cleaning the printer heads, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can take:
1. Check Printhead Alignment
- Run Printhead Alignment:
- Go to the printer’s control panel or use the HP Smart app to initiate the printhead alignment process. This helps ensure that the printheads are properly aligned and can resolve issues with blurred or misaligned text.
2. Inspect and Clean the Printhead
Manual Cleaning:
- Remove the printhead (refer to the printer manual for instructions) and clean it gently with a lint-free cloth moistened with distilled water. Be careful not to touch the nozzles directly with your fingers.
Clean the Carriage and Printhead Contacts:
- Wipe the contacts on the carriage and the printhead with a dry, lint-free cloth. Any debris or ink buildup can affect printing quality.
3. Check Ink Cartridges
Verify Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and seated correctly. Sometimes, cartridges may appear to be installed correctly but are not fully engaged.
Inspect Cartridges for Damage:
- Look for any signs of damage or leakage. If the cartridges are old or expired, consider replacing them with new, genuine HP cartridges.
4. Print Quality Diagnostic
Print a Test Page:
- Use the printer’s control panel to print a diagnostic test page. This will help you identify if the issue is consistent across all colors and if certain areas are particularly affected.
Examine the Test Page:
- Check for streaks, blurred areas, or missing colors on the test page. This can provide clues about which part of the print system might be causing the problem.
5. Check Paper Quality
Use the Right Paper:
- Make sure you are using paper that is appropriate for your printer. Low-quality or incompatible paper can affect print quality.
Paper Handling:
- Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray and that there are no jams or obstructions.
6. Update Printer Firmware and Software
Check for Updates:
- Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the HP website.
Reinstall Printer Drivers:
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
