DeskJet Ink Adventage 5075
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There is a DeskJet Ink Adventage 5075. The printer was not used after purchase. When the cover was opened, we saw that the cartridge latch was not installed in the grooves. The latch could not be installed in its place. Is it possible to remove the metal retainer without disassembling? Or maybe someone has a guide to disassemble the printer?

@medikolya Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to install the ink cartridge latch.

There is no service manual for this model. You can only refer to the user guide.

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Or you can contact local service center for repair

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
