Deskjet 1275 & macOS Big Sur 11.0.1

Hi, I have a wired (USB) DeskJet 1275 that is not printing. I successfully installed the printer on my MacBook Air (macOS Big Sur version 11.0.1) and when trying to print, the printer light flashes and the message in the queue says printing, but nothing prints. I've already tried unplugging, restarting printer, plugging cable to a different USB port, uninstalling and re-installing to no avail. Help!

I'd like to help!

 

HP Deskjet 1275 driver for macOS is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
