@Shy666, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like you're having a frustrating issue with your HP DeskJet 2620 printer where all printouts are coming out blank. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve this issue:

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are not empty. You can check the ink levels via the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.

Verify Ink Cartridges Installation:

  • Open the printer's access door and ensure that both the black and color ink cartridges are installed correctly. Press down on each cartridge to make sure they are seated properly.

Clean the Ink Cartridges:

  • Use the printer's software to clean the ink cartridges. This can often help clear any blockage or dried ink in the nozzles.
  • On your computer, access the HP Printer Assistant, go to the 'Print & Scan' category, then click 'Maintain Your Printer', and select 'Clean Cartridges'.

Inspect Cartridges for Issues:

  • Remove each cartridge and inspect it for damage or ink leakage.
  • Check the vent area on top of the cartridge. If it is clogged, gently clean it with a pin.

Run a Print Quality Report:

  • You can run a print quality report to see if there are any errors noted there.
  • Use the printer's maintenance options within the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant to print this report.

Reset the Printer:

  • Sometimes resetting the printer can resolve the issue. Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in and power it on.

Check for Firmware and Software Updates:

  • Using the HP Smart app or visiting the HP support website, check for any available updates for your printer's firmware or your computer's HP software.

Consider Ink Cartridge Replacement:

  • If none of the above solutions work, consider replacing the ink cartridges with new, genuine HP cartridges to rule out the possibility of faulty cartridges.
