Deskjet 3735 Poor print quality - Streaky on text

Hi

 

I appreciate any advice anyone has on this.  It's not printing correctly, on text areas predominantly, missing parts of or whole lines.  See scans of the test prints.  I've done the cleaning and aligning, reinstalled the HP smart app.  Tried using the HP virtual agent but not got anywhere useful.  The Black cartridge is only a month old and hasn't done much printing.  The perfect HP Demo print makes me think it's not any issue with the ink or printer itself.  I'm on  a OSX 10.15.6

Remove the color cartridge & try copying the demo page again.

That, along with another clean and alignment, seems to have solved the problem.
