Deskjet 3752 won’t print black ink

HP Recommended
HP Deskjet 3752
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Deskjet 3752 won’t print black ink. Previously it did until I replaced it with a GENUINE HP 65 black cartridge. The ink says its full and there are no error codes. When I print test pages, alignment page, random emails it prints the color parts but skips the black ink. If I change to print in black only it prints a blank page.

There was advice here Message 4 of 9 that I followed to no avail and no my protective tape is not still on:

How long since you last printed using black ink?
