Deskjet F4180
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Deskjet F4180 is having trouble printing. When I send a print job, the paper gets pulled like it is going to print, and I hear the ink cartridge moving back and forth like it is printing. The paper is not being pulled further into the printer like it is supposed to, the ink cartridge is just moving back and forth on the same section of the paper. When I cancel the print job, all the paper has on it is a faint line of ink. Any way I can fix this?

To fix the paper pick up issue, try the following steps:

  • Reset the printer
  • Check the condition of the paper and reload
  • Clear the paper jam
  • Clean the rollers
  • Try to copy and print
