Deskjet printer -regional reset

HP Recommended
HP Deskjet 3050 j610 series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
HP Deskjet 3050 All In One J610 Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Printer Name: Hp Deskjet 3050 All in one J610 series

Cartridges No: 802 small Tri colour combo (Black and colour)

Error Message on printer display: Cartridge incompatible.

 

I recently shifted my Deskjet printer to India from Dubai, UAE & replaced new cartridge( No: 802) which I bought online from HP India. The printer displays an error message saying incompatible cartridge.

Please advise how to do the region reset.

I have installed the full printer software, connected my printer wirelessly to my Dell laptop XPS 13 -9360.

Now how to I resent my regional settings on the printer so that the new cartridges can be compatible.

I'd like to help!

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
