My printers display screen remains black even if it's powered on. Pressing the power button doesn't do anything. It also won't respond to any print jobs. I've tried unplugging and plugging back in. The wifi light shows  and the home, back arrow, and question mark all show. But nothing on the screen.

possibly a factory reset will work. 

I assume you have an HP printer, what is the model?
