Yesterday my LaserJet M129-134 Series printer started printing documents offset to the right. It only happens with the printing of documents from PC. Documents printed directly from scanner are printed normaly.

Hi @SAZTRLUKSI,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like the issue is with the printing setup from your PC, and not the printer itself. Since documents printed directly from the scanner are normal, this suggests that the problem is related to the communication between the PC and the printer.

Here are a few steps to try to resolve the issue.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select Printer Properties.
  • Check the Layout or Advanced tab to see if the paper size, orientation, or margins are set correctly. Sometimes, these settings can get changed and cause the document to print offset.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • On your printer, perform a reset to restore factory settings (this may vary depending on your model, but it is often in the menu under "Reset" or "Restore Defaults").
  • This may resolve any print configuration issues that might have occurred recently.

Update or Reinstall Printer Driver:

  • It's possible that the printer driver is out of date or corrupted. Go to Device Manager on your PC, right-click on your printer under Printers, and select Update driver. Alternatively, you can visit the HP website to download the latest driver for your printer model.
  • If updating doesn't help, try uninstalling the driver completely, rebooting your PC, and reinstalling the driver.

Check the Print Spooler:

  • Sometimes, issues with the print spooler can cause printing problems. To check this, press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.

Test with Another Application:

  • Try printing from a different program (e.g., a different word processor or PDF viewer) to see if the issue is program-specific.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • If you recently installed any software or updates, it might be causing a conflict. Try rolling back recent updates or uninstalling recent software to see if the issue resolves.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
