Does HP LaserJet Pro MFP M128fw have "Scan to Email" feature?

https://store.hp.com/in-en/default/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m128fw-cz186a.html shows the feature is present in the product. But, i'm unable to locate that feature on the printer.

At least to my eyes, i couldn't see any such option, even in the printer's web server.

Need your help.

Hi,

Make sure the printer is connected to the network and click the Apps icon, from there you may access the Scan to Email feature.

The printer is connected to the wireless network and got the IP address. When i click on Apps icon, it says "Connection Error".

As a parallel note, I'm also connected to the same WiFi network from laptop and replying to this thread. So, the network is available.

Why am i getting "Connection Error" when the network is available. the printer got the IP address too. and the WiFi network is working, as i'm replying over the same WiFi network.

Hi,

Try installing the printer firmware below and check if that helps, run it from the Mac and follow the steps on screen to update the printer, then check for any difference:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/HP_LaserJet_M127-M128_FW_20190524.dmg

If the same persists, from the Setup menu, select Self Diagnostics and then Run Wireless Test.

Please include a picture of the printed report on your reply or via a Private Message.
