Doesn't print when clicking in HP Smart

Hi, I cannot print from Windows. When clicking print in HP smart  the printer wakes up, but nothing happens.Scanning works fine. Printing from Android phone and Ipad works great, but not from Windows computer. Can someone please help..../ Tommy

Preparation

If you have not done so, download-save-install the Full Feature Software / Full Driver for the printer

If using USB cable between the printer and the computer, disconnect the cable.

  HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software

• Download-and-Save the printer software (Full Feature Software / HP Smart / Easy Start)
• Right-Click on the downloaded package and "Run as Administrator" to start the installation
• Reminder:  If using Easy Start, select the Full Driver

  About 2/3 of the way through the setup, you will be given the opportunity to select the software - select the "Full" driver set (as opposed to the basic driver).

If using USB:  Connect the cable when instructed to do so (near the last part of the driver installation)

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.

Full driver provides print and scan functions (even if HP Smart proves to be stubborn).

Not sure what is going on with HP Smart.

You can try removing it and then "Get" a new copy from the Microsoft Store.

Can’t log into HP Smart using your HP Account? 

Not working?

• Make sure you are running the latest (newest) app version.
• Make sure your Windows Updates in current and installed.
• Try reloading the HP Smart Application:

Uninstall HP Smart > Restart the computer and log in > Install the application from the Microsoft Store

Settings > Apps > Apps and Features 

Search or scroll down and find HP Smart

Left-Click on the item > Uninstall

Restart the computer and log in

"Get" a new copy of the Application from the Microsoft Store

Possible:  Windows version issue?? HP Smart is available in Windows 10 versions 1803 and newer.
