Clean Cartridge Contacts: Sometimes, dust or debris on the cartridge contacts can interfere with communication between the cartridges and the printer. Remove the cartridges and gently clean the contacts with a lint-free cloth or cotton swab dampened with distilled water. Allow the contacts to dry completely before reinstalling the cartridges.
