HI @kairygon-61,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "E0" error code flashing in orange on your HP Envy 6055e printer typically indicates an issue with the toner cartridges, but since you've replaced the toners and are still encountering the problem, there may be other factors to consider. Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Verify Toner Installation

Check Toner Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure that the toner cartridges are installed correctly. Remove and reinstall them to make sure they are seated properly.

Check for Packaging Material:

  • Ensure that all protective tape or packaging materials have been removed from the toner cartridges before installation.

2. Inspect the Toner Cartridges

Examine Cartridges:

  • Look for any visible damage or defects on the toner cartridges. If you have another set of cartridges available, try using them to see if the issue persists.

Clean Cartridges:

  • Gently wipe the contacts on the toner cartridges with a soft, lint-free cloth. Be careful not to touch the drum or any sensitive parts.

3. Check for Paper Jams

Inspect for Paper Jams:

  • Open all accessible doors and trays to check for any paper jams or obstructions. Clear any paper that may be stuck.

Verify Paper Path:

  • Make sure that the paper is correctly loaded and that there are no pieces of paper or debris obstructing the paper path.

4. Reset the Printer

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • If the issue persists, perform a hard reset by following the printer’s manual or HP’s instructions for resetting.

5. Check Printer Settings and Firmware

Update Firmware:

  • Ensure that the printer’s firmware is up to date. Visit the HP website or use the HP Smart app to check for and install any available updates.

Verify Printer Settings:

  • Access the printer settings via the control panel or HP Smart app to check for any settings related to toner or print quality.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
