Hi @Aizajane,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The E2 error on your HP printer means paper size mismatch, not an ink issue. Even if you’ve refilled the ink, the printer will still blink if the paper settings don’t match what’s loaded.

Steps to Fix E2 Error

  1. Cancel the current print job:
    • Press the Cancel (X) button on the printer.

  2. Check Paper Settings:
    • On your computer or mobile device, open the print dialog.
    • Make sure the paper size (e.g., A4, Letter) matches the paper in the tray.

  3. Adjust Printer Settings:
    • On the printer control panel or HP app:
      • Go to Settings > Paper Setup.
      • Select the correct size and type.

  4. Reload Paper:
    • Remove the paper stack.
    • Fan the sheets and reload them properly.
    • Ensure the guides are snug but not too tight.
