Hi @Hbfsam,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for reaching out! The E3 error on your HP ENVY 6432 All-in-One Printer typically indicates a carriage jam, meaning the ink cartridge carriage is stuck or unable to move freely.

Here’s what you can do:

1. Check for Obstructions

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Gently move the carriage (where the ink cartridges sit) from side to side.
  • Remove any paper scraps, labels, or obstructions in the path.

2. Check Cartridge Installation

  • Remove both cartridges.
  • Reinsert them firmly until they click into place.
  • Make sure the carriage latch (if present) is properly secured.

3. Reset the Printer

  • Unplug the printer from the wall.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

4. Run a Printer Reset via HP Smart App

  • Open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.
  • Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Tools > Restore Factory Defaults.
