For this particular issue, I recommend the following general troubleshooting steps:

 

Restart the Printer:

  • Power off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or HP's support website.

Check Connections:

  • Make sure that all cables are securely connected and that there are no issues with your network connection if you're using wireless printing.
