@lairot15, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding an error code!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I know it’s frustrating when your printer won’t connect to the internet, but don’t worry—I’m here to help!

Before we dive into troubleshooting, could you let me know the exact model of your HP printer? That’ll help me provide the most accurate steps for your device.

In the meantime, let’s try a few general troubleshooting steps:

Restart Everything

  • Turn off your printer, router, and computer (if applicable).
  • Wait about 30 seconds, then turn the router back on first.
  • After the router fully starts up, turn your printer back on and check if it reconnects.

Check Wi-Fi Connection & Signal

  • Make sure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router (ideally, not too far or blocked by walls).
  • If possible, try connecting the printer to a 2.4 GHz network instead of 5 GHz (some printers don’t support 5 GHz).

Reset Wi-Fi Setup on the Printer

  • On most HP printers, press and hold the Wi-Fi button (or Wi-Fi + Cancel) for 5-10 seconds until the light blinks.
  • Then, run the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer’s control panel (if available) and reconnect to your Wi-Fi.

Error Codes 06 & EBSOOP0010

These errors usually indicate a network or firmware issue. Try these steps:

  • Update printer firmware: If your printer supports it, check for updates via HP Smart App or the printer’s settings.
  • Manually assign an IP Address: You can do this from the Embedded Web Server (EWS) by entering your printer’s IP in a browser.

Let me know if these steps help or if you need more guidance! And please share your printer model so I can give more specific solutions. 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
