Most of the time lately, when I try to Airprint from my iPhone, nothing happens. The printer doesn’t wake up and does not print the material. Sometimes if I keep trying or unplug and restart the printer, it will work. After multiple attempts of trying to print, I get an error code DE8FF9 on my iPhone saying that the printer is busy and asking if I want to cancel the job or continue (meanwhile nothing is happening with my printer). In the HP smart print app, it also shows no print jobs. I have tried completely resetting the printer to factory defaults and it did not help.
