My printer keeps validating. I have followed the procedure of switching off and restarting. I have also followed procedure of C:>Service>Windows>Spool and deleting the files and then restarting. It has not helped

Is it possible to speak to someon.

Is it that HP is deliberately blocking my printer so I have to buy a new one?

Hi @Rajan54,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Envy 6032 is stuck on “Validating” and won’t finish starting up. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this — and no, this is not HP blocking your printer. This issue normally comes from a setup loop, a jammed update, or a firmware hang.

Power reset the printer completely

Turn the printer on → unplug the power cord from the back (not the wall).

Wait 60 seconds → plug it back in → turn it on.

This clears startup errors that normal restarts don’t fix.

Remove all paper and check inside for jams

Open the ink area, rear access, and input tray.

Any tiny piece of paper or blocked sensor can cause the printer to stall during “Validating.”

Remove the cartridges and restart without them

Take both cartridges out → turn the printer off → unplug for 30 seconds → turn on without cartridges.

If it gets past “Validating,” power off and reinstall the cartridges.

Check if a failed firmware update is stuck

If the issue began after a restart, update, or Wi-Fi setup, the printer may be stuck mid-update.

Restart the printer with Wi-Fi off (router powered off or printer moved out of range).

If it boots normally, reconnect Wi-Fi.

Try starting in a different outlet

Plug the printer directly into a wall socket — not a surge protector.

Low or inconsistent power can cause the validating loop.

Reset the network settings

Tap and hold the Wi-Fi button + Cancel button together for 5 seconds.

This forces a network reset, which sometimes breaks the validating freeze.

I hope this helps.
