I have the same issue. My HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer is frozen at startup. The frozen display shows the HP logo, a horizontal blue line, and the first of 7 bullets filled in. The Power button does not work either. I have tried the various reset options with no luck. Please advise.

Hi @Paul_D_Y,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer is frozen at startup and none of the reset options have worked, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try.
Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn Off: Unplug the printer from the power source.
- Wait: Leave it unplugged for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug In: Plug it back in and turn it on.
Check the Power Supply:
- Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the wall outlet. Try using a different power outlet if possible.
Inspect for Paper Jams:
- Check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Even a small piece of paper can cause issues.
Disconnect External Devices:
- If there are any external devices or memory cards connected to the printer, remove them and try powering on the printer again.
Firmware Update:
- If you can get the printer to start up eventually, check for any available firmware updates on HP's website and install them.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
