Envy 6000 printer. Flashing yellow with error code E3. Tried all tips. No luck. Anyone help please.

The E3 error on your HP Envy 6000 printer usually indicates a carriage jam or an obstruction preventing the ink cartridges from moving properly. Since you've already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, here are a few additional things to check:

 

Steps to Fix HP Envy 6000 E3 Error

 

Check for Obstructions in the Carriage Path

  • Open the cartridge access door and inspect the area for paper jams or debris.
  • Gently slide the carriage side to side to ensure it moves freely.

 

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

 

Reinstall Ink Cartridges

  • Remove the ink cartridges and check for dust or misalignment.
  • Reinsert them securely and close the cartridge access door.

 

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Press and hold the Cancel button for 10 seconds, then release.
  • Wait for the printer to restart and check if the error clears.
