When I try to print something it goes to the print queue, the printer makes some noise, then the light on the printer turns yellow and nothing happens. The queue says it printed but nothing comes out.
When I open Smart it says "Check Your Account" it says "Printer Not Connected to the Internet" except that I can access it from my wifi.
The other error message I get is:

A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print until the issue is resolved.
If you have an HP+ printer, make sure to use Original HP cartridges.
Sign in to your HP account on the home screen to check your status.
"
Supply levels are fine.
When I try to run Diagnostics i get "Printer Offline Issue not fixed"
I hate this printer so much. I hate that I have to log into HP's server just to use a device that's in my own house. I hate that I have to unplug it and plug it back in every time I want to print. I hate that the diagnostic tools don't work. I hate how hard it is to talk to a human being at your company! I signed up for your stupid ink service okay so why doesn't it work!

I had to set up and HP Smart account when first installing the printer, but when i checked the account as instructed, no printers were there. Perhaps this was the issue. Ended up doing a factory reset on the printer and then adding it to the HP Smart app again. Then went into Windows Printers and deleted old instances of Printer. Now printer works. This also added it to my HP Smart online account.

Are you able to make copies?
What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
Does the printer still show offline on HP Smart?

Not the original poster, but we are having this EXACT problem, to a T. The "virtual chat" is a joke.
I'm not sure what answers the original poster will give but for us:
• No idea if we can make copies.
• Multiple devices (mac laptop, chromebook, two different phones) all fail to print. Multiple applications as well. It's not a file or source problem, because the HP app itself says the printer is unable to print.
• The printer _Sometimes_ shows as offline in HP Smart. and _sometimes_ shows as connected. But it _always_ says Check your Account, where it gives the ever-helpful and informative, "An error has occurred, you will be unable to print."

- May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
- What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone?

I have the same problem: "not connected to the iternet" HP Envy 6000 printer. It does not matter whether i try to print from a computer or my Ipad. It used to work fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer in the computer a couple of times. No change.
