Hi @MLS1946,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

For your HP Envy 6065e printers, here’s how you can address the issues.

Paper Jam Message (even after clearing)

Inspect for hidden jams:

  • Open all accessible areas (input/output tray, ink cartridge access area, and paper path).
  • Use a flashlight to check for small pieces of paper or debris.
  • Ensure rollers are clean and free of obstructions.

Reset the printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 2 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and power it on.

Check the sensors:

  • The paper jam sensor may be stuck or dirty.
  • Clean the paper feed rollers with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.

Update firmware:

  • If the issue persists, check for a firmware update via the HP Smart App or HP support website.

Offline Issue

Check network connection:

  • Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device.
  • If using Wi-Fi, check if the signal is strong. Relocate closer to the router if needed.

Re-add the printer:

  • Remove the printer from your devices (Control Panel > Devices and Printers on Windows or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners on Mac).
  • Re-add the printer using the HP Smart App or manually via the network settings.

Restart devices:

  • Restart your computer, router, and printer to refresh the connection.

Use a static IP:

  • Assign a static IP address to the printer via the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for better connectivity. Access the EWS by entering the printer's IP address in a browser.

Set as default printer:

  • Ensure the printer is set as the default in your computer's settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
