Help! I can't figure out why my HP Envy Photo 7855 keeps shutting down and powering back on. It will even do it in the middle of printing. I tried plugging it in directly to an outlet, made sure that the shutdown schedule was off, the sleep mode is set at 15 minutes, and changed the setting to only power off with the power button. When I power it on, it will shutdown almost immediately after the main menu screen pops up. It will power off even if I'm using the touch screen. I tried using my laptop to get into the settings on the printer but it won't connect because it won't stay powered on long enough. If I just leave it plugged into the power outlet, it will continuously power on and off, it won't stop unless I unplug the power cord. I sure hope one of you great people can help me fix this. Thanks!

@BGR19, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer keeps shutting down. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Connect the printer to a different good known wall outlet. Check if the power chord is firmly connected.

If the issue persists, I'm afraid it is a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
