Hi @Jknight85,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for sharing the details. The Er 11 flashing error on your HP LaserJet M140w indicates a paper jam or paper feed issue. Even if you don’t see paper stuck, the printer sensors may detect a misfeed or obstruction.

Recommended Steps to Fix Er 11

1. Power Reset

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn on the printer.

2. Check for Paper Jams

  • Open the input tray and output tray.
  • Remove any loose paper.
  • Check inside the printer for scraps or torn pieces of paper.
  • Gently remove any stuck paper without tearing it.

3. Inspect Rollers

  • Look for dirt or worn rollers.
  • Clean rollers with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.

4. Reload Paper Correctly

  • Use clean, dry paper of the correct size.
  • Fan the stack and load it properly in the tray.
  • Do not overload the tray.

5. Update Firmware
