HI @Rayssa, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the HP website or the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.

Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to the Setup menu.
  • Navigate to Printer Maintenance.
  • Select Restore or Restore Factory Defaults.

Disconnect and Reconnect All Cables:

  • Disconnect all cables, including the power cord and any USB cables, from the printer.
  • Reconnect the power cord first and ensure that the printer powers on correctly.
  • Reconnect other cables if applicable.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source while it is still on.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds before plugging it back in.
  • This can clear any residual errors in the printer's memory.

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • If you've recently installed non-genuine or reconditioned cartridges, try replacing them with original HP cartridges.
  • Non-genuine cartridges can sometimes cause errors or compatibility issues.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
