Hi @WiliamR,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error 0XC9C7000 on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 typically indicates a hardware issue or an internal component failure, especially after a power outage. Since a power restart didn’t resolve the issue, you can try the following troubleshooting steps.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions:

  • Open the printer’s access door and check for any paper jams or foreign objects.
  • Remove any jammed paper or debris you find.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and not damaged.
  • Remove and reseat the cartridges.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • With the printer on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer on.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on HP's website. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve hardware issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
