Hi @Smantanga,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 0b-0006030f451 on HP printers typically indicates a hardware or ribbon cable connection issue. Since you mentioned that the technician changed the ribbon cables and there’s a connection problem, it’s likely related to the improper connection or seating of the ribbon cables.

Here’s what you can do to resolve this:

Power Off the Printer: Unplug the printer from the power source to ensure safety while inspecting the internal components.

Inspect the Ribbon Cables:

  • Open the printer and check the ribbon cables. Ensure that each ribbon cable is properly connected and seated securely on the board.
  • Look for any loose or improperly connected cables. They should be firmly attached to their respective connectors on the main board and other connection points.

Re-seat the Cables:

  • Gently but firmly disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cables to make sure they are properly seated. Make sure they are aligned correctly and securely connected.
  • Check for any signs of damage or wear on the cables or connectors. If you find any issues, you may need to replace the affected ribbon cable.

Check for Proper Alignment:

  • Ensure that the ribbon cables are not pinched or obstructed. They should be routed properly to avoid any damage.

Power On the Printer: Once you have verified and reconnected all cables, plug the printer back in and turn it on. Check if the error code has cleared.

Run a Test Print: Perform a test print or scan to ensure that the printer is functioning correctly and that the issue has been resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
