I am getting an intermittent error 49.38.13. and 49.4a.04. I have updated the fw to the latest level. Errors still occurring. Any ideas on how to solve this issue.

Most 49 errors are related to either firmware corruption or driver issues. In simple terms, a 49 error is like the printer going "What?". In your position I would first isolate the printer by disconnecting any network or USB cables and see if you can print reports from the printer. If that works then connect to a computer and install the latest printer drivers. If the error shows up then the next step would be to format the drive in the printer and reinstall the latest firmware. You will need to access the preboot menu to format the drive and then download the firmware.  The firmware readme file has instructions on accessing the preboot menu.
