I've just gotten a new printer which works 95% fine, but some files I get the error "79 turn off then on" before the printer quickly restarts.
I've:
- updated the firmware

- Hard reset the printer

- followed a guide where I disable ipv6

- tried with both wireless and ethernet

- reset the wireless

- reset the router

- tried corded with USB (so there is not an internet issue in my view)

The issue seems to have something with specific pdf's - most pdf's works fine but some pdf's, in this case invoices, sets of the error.
I've tried changing the name of the file (removing - or _ og brackets) but this does not seem to have anything with the issue.
When I converted the file to JPEG it prints fine, so it definitely  has something to do with the format.
I'm doing this for my mothers business which means to convert the pdf's everytime is a more time consuming solution than for me.

Does anyone have the same issue or have somthing I haven't tried? Any suggestions are more than open as I've used ALOT of time on troubleshooting now.

Issues when printing particular PDFs usually are addressed by current firmware releases from HP to improve compatibility with Adobe's file format. However if you are using 3rd party cartridges there is also the risk of those being rejected by the new firmware. Printing the file from a different PDF program can be a work around.
