Hi @Popey2,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error B870F646 on your HP 7800 all-in-one printer could be indicative of a few possible issues, such as a hardware malfunction, software error, or communication problem between the printer and your computer. Here are some troubleshooting steps you might consider to resolve the error:

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes, a simple restart can clear error codes.

Check Connections: Make sure the printer's connections to the computer or network are secure. If connected via USB, try using a different USB cable or port. If connected over a network, ensure the network settings are correct.

Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or corrupt printer drivers can cause errors. Visit the HP website, find the latest drivers for your HP 7800 printer, and install them.

Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, stuck print jobs can cause errors. Clear the print queue by going to your computer’s print management and deleting all pending print jobs.

Reset the Printer: A factory reset can sometimes resolve persistent error codes. You can usually perform a reset via the printer's control panel under the settings menu.

Check for Obstructions: Open the printer and check for any paper jams or debris that might be causing the printer to malfunction.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
