I have a HP Envy 5030 and it keeps getting into a state where the screen displays the error code 0xB32043CD and I cannot do anything. The printer isn't connected to my WiFi / LAN at this point. The only way I know to recover, is to pull the power and then restore power again. It is happening very frequently. Any help please, HP?

Perform a Power Reset

Since power cycling temporarily resolves the issue, let’s try a more thorough reset:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds to allow any residual power to drain.
  3. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid using a surge protector).
  4. Turn on the printer and check if the issue persists.

Check for Firmware Updates

Outdated firmware may cause errors like this. You can update your printer’s firmware using the HP Smart app or manually:

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone.
  2. Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Printer Updates and install any available updates.
  3. Restart your printer after the update.
