HP Officejet 5255
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Officejet 5255 is doing the flashing light thing and displaying  "ERROR CODE 0XB3D58A2B". My PC does not detect the printer. HP Smart Diagnose and Fix does not detect the printer. Unplugging and allowing the printer to rest for 60 seconds and plugging it back in does not assist. Obviously a Google search does not give a result for the specific error code or I would not be here. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand you are receiving a"0XB" error on the printer

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue To restore the printer to the original factory defaults

  • 1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, swipe left to see (⚙️  Setup ) and touch ( ⚙️ Setup ).
  • 2. Touch Tools, touch Restore Factory Defaults, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
