Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My error message reads: "There is a problem with the printer or in system. Turn printer off then on. If problem persists, contact HP." I followed directions, even going as far as to unplug the printer and then plug it back in and I still get the same error message.

@japaga8, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to use the printer due to this error. As the printer is stuck on this error, we cannot perform a factory reset.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - An 'Ink System Failure' or 'System Supply Problem' Error Displays

 

If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure.
