Hi @John-T3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code B84225F2 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8725 indicates a serious firmware or hardware issue. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

2. Check for Hardware Issues

  • Inspect the printer for any paper jams, foreign objects, or loose connections inside the printer.

3. Reset the Printer to Factory Settings

  • If possible, try to reset the printer to factory settings. This usually can be done from the printer's menu under Settings.

4. Update Firmware

  • If you can access the printer's control panel:
    • Go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update Firmware. If available, apply any updates.

5. Try a Different Power Source

  • Plug the printer into a different power outlet to rule out any power supply issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
