Error code OXD8077900 KERNEL_EXEC_ST

Please bear in mind that I am a bit of a technophobe!

 I have the above error message on my printer which I only purchsed in February 2018. How can I resolve the problem and what has caused it?

Mine has the exact same code showing.  Printer is less than 2 days old.

Hi,  I turned the printer off and left it for a few hours, when I switched it on again the error message had gone!

Still none the wiser!!!

Can you tell me your internet provider?

Can you tell me your Make an model of your router?

I dont have an answer but I am working on the issue.

I'm having the same issue on my OJ 5255 that I purchased last month.  I have a Xfinity/Comcast router.  I'm not sure on model.  It says Dual-Band WiFi 802.11ac XB3.  The issue occurs every day.  I'd have returned it but I had already thrown out the box.

Hello BarbFLA,

I think I can help get rid of your error. 

Use the printer LCD and go to settings.

Then scroll down to Network Setup.

Then scroll down again and go to advance settings.

You will see a screen that has IPv6 ... turn it off. 

Now your error codes will not return. 

Please let me know if this works.

try this from your printer control panel :-

1. Click SETUP from control panel.
2. Select “Network Setup”
3. Select “Advance Settings”
4. Turn off IPv6
5. Click Yes
