Hi @Rhonda614,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code "c4eb8024" on your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-In-One Printer typically indicates a hardware issue or a problem with the printer's firmware. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP website.
  • If updates are available, download and install them according to the provided instructions.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Sometimes, paper jams can trigger error codes. Open the printer cover and check for any jammed paper.
  • If you find any, carefully remove it, ensuring not to tear the paper.

Reset the Printer:

  • Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Press the Power button to turn on the printer.

Clean Printer Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door and remove all ink cartridges.
  • Clean the electrical contacts inside the printer and on the ink cartridges using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water.
  • Allow the contacts to dry completely.
  • Reinstall the ink cartridges and close the ink cartridge access door.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
