Error code will not go away 'output bin full.'

Printer either doesn't print or some documents print 10 to 15 minutes later.

Hi @Karen2021,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering an issue with your printer displaying the error message "output bin full" and experiencing delays in printing. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Check the Output Bin: Make sure the output bin of your printer is not physically full. If it is, remove any printed documents to create space for new ones.

Restart the Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve temporary errors. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer settings are configured correctly, especially the paper type and size settings. Incorrect settings might cause the printer to think the output bin is full when it's not.

Clear Print Queue: There might be a backlog of print jobs in the print queue, causing delays and errors. Clear the print queue on your computer by canceling any pending print jobs.

Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or corrupt printer drivers can cause various issues, including error messages and printing delays. Update the printer drivers to the latest version provided by the manufacturer.

Reset Printer: Some printers have a reset option in their settings menu. Resetting the printer to its default settings can sometimes resolve persistent issues.

Check for Paper Jams: Even if the error message doesn't indicate a paper jam, it's worth checking for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer that might be causing the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
